While this type of work is usually at night, and is contract freelance work, it is an ideal employment opportunity for felons who need to make some money relatively quickly – and easily. If you are interesting in doing newspaper delivery work, you can find these types of jobs listed on Craigslist and in your local newspaper. Keep in mind, that normally you will have to have your own car and show proof of insurance. But, in most cases, these jobs pay weekly and will provide some immediate income while you look for other jobs for people with felonies.

So, I was looking for jobs that hire felons and found several jobs that hire ex offenders and many are associated with local contract work. If you have an interest in working a night shift, you may want to consider newspaper delivery jobs. On Craiglist, there are many newspaper delivery jobs that are local to your area and most are jobs for delivering not only your local paper but also national papers like USA Today. Just do a search on Craiglist for courier jobs or newspaper delivery jobs and I’m sure you will find several in your area. Keep in mind, however, that these jobs for felons are contract labor and are usually night jobs.
